2.5. Content Ownership: Slav does not claim any ownership rights in the content you download through Slav.
3Third-Party Platform Compliance
3.1. No Affiliation: Slav is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok, ByteDance Ltd., or any other social media platforms.
3.2. Platform Terms: You are responsible for complying with TikTok's Terms of Service and any other applicable platform terms when using Slav.
3.3. Platform Changes: We are not responsible for changes to third-party platforms that may affect Slav's functionality.
4Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use Slav to:
- Violate any laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- Infringe on copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
- Use downloaded content for commercial purposes without proper authorization
- Engage in automated or high-volume downloading (scraping)
- Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or interfere with Slav
- Use Slav for any illegal or harmful activities
- Bypass any security measures or access controls
Violation of these terms may result in immediate termination of your access to Slav.
5Service Availability
5.1. Service Provision: Slav is provided free of charge and on an "as-is" basis.
5.2. Availability: We do not guarantee that Slav will be available at all times or without interruption.

8Limitation of Liability
8.1. Damages Limitation: To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
8.2. Total Liability: Our total liability for any claims shall not exceed $100 USD or the amount you paid us in the last 12 months, whichever is less.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Slav, its operators, and affiliates from and against any claims, disputes, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, and costs arising out of or in any way connected with your use of Slav, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

14DMCA Notice and Takedown Procedure
We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that content accessible through Slav infringes your copyright, you may submit a notification pursuant to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") by providing our Copyright Agent with the following information in writing:
Required Information for DMCA Notice:
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material

- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law

If you believe content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification. Please note that due to the nature of Slav (temporary processing without storage), most content-related disputes should be directed to the original platform (TikTok) rather than Slav.
We will respond to legitimate DMCA notices and take appropriate action, which may include restricting access to specific content or implementing technical measures to prevent copyright infringement.
15Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by a valid and enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision.
